About Alan Razavi

Alan Razavi has over twenty-five years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, valuations, and successfully assisting buyers and sellers in privately held businesses and commercial real estate. He has been involved in the sale of retail, service, health care, technology, manufacturing, and distribution businesses.

Alan frequently represents serial buyers and sellers of companies and uses market knowledge and deal execution skills to help clients achieve their transactional strategies.

Alan works closely with clients to truly understand the unique aspects of their business needs by aligning to the industry-specific issues critical to the success of a deal. Alan guides clients through every stage of a deal-from letters of intent, due diligence and structuring to negotiation and preparation of deal documents, financing arrangements, to post-transaction transition.

Alan is fully committed to helping clients achieve their short term and long-term objectives, and close deals on time, on budget, and with no negative surprises. His diverse knowledge allows him to provide superb business service and real estate insights, handling all aspects of business & commercial real estate sales, as well as real estate acquisitions, development, and financing. Alan is known for his professionalism and integrity, and sellers have commented on his strong ability to problem solve in order to get a transaction completed.

Prior to joining M&A Business Advisors, Alan was partner & broker associate with several Northern California brokerage firms. He successfully represented hundreds of clients in their acquisitions of various types of businesses and commercial properties.

Alan has attended graduate studies at Stanford University, has a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Tulsa, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).
