Charlie began his career as a Business Broker in 1996, after the sale of his two outdoor sporting goods stores. During the process of selling, he realized mistakes were made in the process that cost him a lot of aggravation since he did not use an experienced Business Broker. He thus decided to become a Business Broker so others did not repeat his mistakes. Charlie holds a Master’s Degree in Management/Administration from Cambridge College, Boston, and has been a serial entrepreneur since 1990, with multiple successful business ventures to his credit. He recently sold his latest venture, a successful specialty furniture retail business, which he had purchased when the economy crashed in 2008. He was able to triple revenues and increase profits 4x in the first 5-years of ownership. Charlie has also done business consulting, contributing to the turnaround of multiple manufacturing, distribution/wholesale and retail businesses.
Charlie’s keen business mind, understanding of business, attention to detail, and ability to successfully negotiate deals has enabled him to be very successful and highly respected within the business brokerage community.
In his spare time, Charlie is an avid outdoor adventure sports enthusiast, enjoying cycling, skiing, and kayaking.
