Greg Carpenter is the Managing Partner of the Silicon Valley office of M&A Business Advisors, a full-service Business Brokerage and M&A Advisory Firm in the Western US.  With over 30 years of M&A and Business Brokerage experience, Greg has completed over 350 business sales in various industries, including business services, product manufacturing, contract manufacturing, distribution, software, transportation, education, medical services and many others.  Greg has represented individual owners, family offices, and public companies as sellers.  Buyers include individuals, private equity funds, private corporations and public companies.

Greg holds the Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary credential from the M&A Source and is a Fellow of the M&A Source, a professional association for M&A intermediaries.  Greg has presented workshops at M&A Source national conferences for years and is a member of the Marketing Committee and the Conference Committee.  Greg has the Certified Merger & Acquisition Professional credential from Kennesaw State University’s Cole’s College of Business, and the Certified Business Intermediary credential from the International Business Brokers Association.  In addition, Greg is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association (non-attorney) where he has served as a Fee Arbitrator for 15 years, and CalCPA as an Associate Member.  Always active in continuing education, Greg was responsible for training in a 70-agent business brokerage.  Greg has an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BA in Business Management from University of LaVerne.

Prior to his M&A career, Greg worked for in management for public and private companies, serving as Materials Manager, National Sales Manager, European Sales Manager and Product Marketing Manager in high tech.
