Henry Weaks, CBI, CBB, is a seasoned business executive with many years of ownership and board level positions. He served as the Owner/CEO of Weaks Supply Company, Monroe, LA—a large wholesale distributor of industrial and electrical supplies with over 150 employees, operating in eight locations in three states throughout the Mid-South. Henry successfully sold this company to a large multi-national corporation in 1989.
Henry is a graduate of the Culver Military Academy, Culver, IN and received a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA. He is an alumni member of the Young Presidents Organization and a past President of the Rotary Club of Monroe, LA. Additionally, he served many years on the Board of Directors of Central Bank, Monroe, LA, LCR-M Corporation, Baton Rouge, LA, as well as the Board of Trustees of The Culver Educational Foundation, Culver, IN.
Henry joined the business brokerage industry in 2002, and has successfully closed on the sale of businesses in virtually every industry. He is an active member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the M&A Source and the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB). For over fifteen years he has held from IBBA the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), reflecting professionalism and dedication to the business brokerage industry. Additionally, he has earned from CABB the designation of Certified Business Broker (CBB).
Using his years of experience, Henry helps business owners to navigate the complex planning and selling process in order to ultimately realize the maximum after-tax dollars for their business. Henry often tells owners: “I have walked in your shoes”. Having successfully sold his own business, he’s “been there” and personally understands the issues business owners face when they finally look to exit their companies and move on. Henry is passionate about helping all parties to a transaction reach their goals resulting in a “win win” outcome for everyone.
