Shannon Brown is a Business Advisor with MABA and brings to the company her diverse background as a marketing and operations executive for businesses ranging from pre-funding start-ups to midsize, fast growing companies. She spent a decade at a small cap NASDAQ-traded holding company in roles including Chief Operating Officer and Divisional President with responsibilities that included qualifying, acquiring and integrating numerous product and agency services companies and structuring the Sellers’ exit terms and planning for employee and client retention.  She also worked closely with the franchise owner and franchisees of one of the world’s leading QSR companies with over 6,000 franchised locations in the United States, giving her a strong background in franchise operations and opportunity analysis to assist both Buyers and Sellers of franchised businesses.

Having owned, operated and sold several service businesses earlier in her career, Shannon has a keen understanding of the needs of both Buyers and Sellers of businesses, including the vital need for pre-sale confidentiality and the importance of post-sale planning to protect key employee and client relationships.  Her innate curiosity, crisp communications, and strong background in marketing, finance, operations, and sales promotion gives her the needed tools to shape the business profile and marketing message to support her clients’ desire to sell their businesses. Shannon has structured complex multi-entity transactions as well as smaller, more streamlined ones for businesses in manufacturing, distribution, service, entertainment production agencies and other industries. Since 2014, Shannon has worked on successful business sale transactions for a wide range of businesses throughout Southern California.
