Eric Landis is the Managing Partner of the Orange County office of M&A Business Advisors, a full-service Business Brokerage and M&A Advisory Firm in the Western US. Eric has over 25 years of experience with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from two guys in a garage to Fortune 1000 companies; including family owned businesses, closely held corporations and entrepreneurs. His buyer pool includes financial, industry, strategic, family office and private equity prospects. Eric has extensive experience in Manufacturing, Distribution, Service, Technology, Internet, e-Commerce, Software, Hardware, Health Care, Franchises and Food & Beverage related businesses as well as other industries. Client companies typically have revenues of $1MM-$30MM.

  • Participated in two startups (i) the first talking yellow pages and (ii) pioneer integrator of software/hardware solutions for small to mid-size companies (1985).
  • Founder of Symetrix, a business consulting firm in San Francisco, CA which specialized in advising business owners on transitions and turnarounds (1986).
  • Represented Greece in the EU technology transfer program (1989).
  • Co-founder and CEO of American Equity Partners, a private equity group in Beverly Hills, CA; acquiring companies in arts & entertainment, music publishing, hospitality, parking, B2B, oil & gas, and QSR brands (1996).
  • Founder and President of Landis Associates, a business brokerage firm in Newport Beach, CA and Denver CO; providing business owners with business sales and acquisitions advisory services (1999).
  • Founder and President of Edge Group, Inc. | Managing Partner of M&A Business Advisors, a full-service Business Brokerage and M&A Advisory Firm, in Orange County, CA (2017).
