With a degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and more than a decade of experience in sales and account management, Rick brings a combination of financial knowledge, relationship management, and firsthand exposure to how businesses operate. His experience working for technology companies focused on HR and recruiting has given him a unique perspective into the people, systems, and back-office operations of a wide range of small and medium-sized businesses.

Rick grew up in a family of small business owners, giving him an early appreciation for the commitment, risk, and personal investment that go into building a successful company. He understands that for many owners, their business represents far more than an asset on a balance sheet—it represents years of hard work and a significant part of their personal story.

His approach is built around understanding the business before bringing it to market. Richard takes the time to learn about a company’s value drivers, where opportunities exist for growth, and what is most important to the owner personally. From preparing a business for market to identifying and engaging qualified buyers, he works to make the process organized, confidential, and focused on the owner’s objectives.
Rick has a strong personal interest in investing and enjoys researching and analyzing both public and private companies, which helps hone his focus on understanding businesses from an owner’s, investor’s, and buyer’s perspective.
